Sunday...

I now have 3 of Annie's blocks finished and guess what?  They have Allison's nod of approval.  Wow...  I am very happy with all of the colors, but I was not sure if the blocks were good or not.  I liked them, but you know how it is, you usually like your own work very much.  It's just part of the process of creating - LOL.

So, today Allison is with me in the sewing room working on a little purse for a friend's birthday.  She is sewing and I am cutting out pieces for more "Annie" blocks.  Nice day.

Oh, I forgot, the air conditioner wasn't cooling yesterday and yes, it was that hot!!  It felt like an intense hot flash.  It was over 80 degrees.  I was a hot mama!!   So right away I sought my hero, Mr. Fix-It.  He was sitting on the couch (covered with a blanket, because he was cold, of course)  with his tv earphones on and the dogs in his lap.  I hated to disturb him but I was hot and he is Mr Fix-It.  True to his wonderful nature, he jumped up and started checking out the problem.  Somehow in our conversation, it was mentioned that a cherry cream cheese pie would sure be good.  Awwww,  cool air is not free, it comes with a price.  But, no problem, that is an easy pie to make and I really do love to see him smile over a treat.

There was rain and lots of lightening last night.  I love that kind of weather.  My name should have been Stormy.  It was damp when I went to church this morning and the dogs' feet were wet when they came in the house.  Uh-ohhh - to the mud room Aggie and Bird.  Smiling.
