Time for Allison's kidney check-up. Seems like we were just there. Heather and Allison have been sick with a cold and coughing their heads off, but on we went to Little Rock. I just hope I don't get sick. I DO NOT want to be sick.

He always asks Allison how she is doing in school. We were not scheduled for a sonogram, but he wanted one so he got us worked in. We are waiting to hear the results. The technician asked us if she had reflux (kidney reflux) and we had never been told that she did, so now I am wondering if she saw something new on the ultrasound. Hmmmm... I'm not worrying until I am told to worry.

We then scrambled over to the Mall and had a delicious burger at BackYard Burgers. Yummy!! Then we shopped just a little bit at Forever 21. Found some cute things for Sunday wear.

We looked for the Vera Bradley bag that Allison wants for her birthday, but we didn't have any luck finding the fabric that she wants. I had LUCK, though!! Found a purse in the style and fabric I wanted, so I bought it!! Ha, Ha!! I emptied my purse today and filled my new purse up with all my necessaries. It is so cute!!

We then traipsed over to a quilt shop in Little Rock called the Stitching Post. It was tucked into the back of a little shopping center, way out of the way, but it was completely packed!! It seems half of the shop was Heirloom sewing and the other half was quilting fabric and sewing projects. They had the newest modern types of fabric. Allison was drooling before we ever went into the store. I almost had to hold her back!! LOL, boy did that make me proud!! I bought her a pattern for a darling Amy Butler purse and some new Amy Butler fabric to make it. She was beaming!! I love her!!

| GORGEOUS!!! |
I needed to find some dark grey fabric for me and June. We are working on a chartreuse and grey Martha Negley quilt. I was only able to find one grey that matched our stuff at the Stitching Post shop. So...
We moved on to Bryant, which is just before Benton. There is a little quilt shop there (actually, it is in Alexander) called Pinwheel Fabrics, so we went looking for it. At first I thought we were lost, but we just had not gone far enough to find it. I thought it would be in a little shopping center, but it was in a house out in the country on the Hwy (5N) between Bryant and Alexander. We found it, not to worry, and it had lots of great things, too. I was able to find 3 pieces of grey that I think will work well with our project. So I considered that a success. Allison found some fabric she loved and wanted to use to make a "Big Bag" (tote), so I got her a charm pack of that fabric and it will be perfect for the project. Yay!!, she was happy and I was happy.
So, after a very quick detour to the Hallmark Store in Bryant, where Heather found Allison's bag (for her birthday) we were on our way home. Finally!! I was exhausted, so exhausted. So glad to be home and see my sweet hubby and puppies.
